Part time Employees
Employees who work a minimum of 32 hours per pay period are eligible to receive paid holidays, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement in proportion to the percentage of time worked. Health insurance is available and the employee contribution for coverage is determined by the number of hours worked per pay period.
Flexible Spending Accounts
- Health Care Spending Accounts - This plan allows you to contribute up to $2600.00 in before tax dollars each year to pay for eligible health care expenses. Examples of eligible expenses include: some over the counter medicines, acupuncture, laser eye surgery. The minimum contribution is $10.00 per paycheck.
- Dependent Care Spending Account - This plan allows you to set aside up to $5000.00 annually in before-tax dollars to pay for eligible dependent care expenses. The plan allows you to reimburse yourself for the cost of caring for your children while you are at work. Examples of eligible expenses include: nursery school, day camps and licensed day care centers for children under the age of 13.
Time off for Full time Employees

- Several retirement programs are available to hospital employees; program options are determined by job title
- Employees may have pre tax voluntary retirement contributions deducted from paychecks. Contributions may be invested in a wide variety of funds. Employees may start contributing toward this plan at any time. Hospital and employee contributions into the pension program are 100% vested and owned by the employee.
