Specialty Care Transport Unit (EMS) Staff RN

The Specialty Care Transport Unit provides nursing care for critically ill patients during interfacility ground ambulance transports.  The nurses in this department also have a secondary function of providing pre hospital Advance and Basic Life Support care during 911 emergencies with ambulance transport to an acute care facility. 

• NJ Nursing License
• 2-3 years of critical care nursing experience including proficiency with cardiac and invasive line monitoring, experience with vasoactive medications as well as IABP monitoring.
• CPR/ ACLS/ PALS
• EMT-B, MICN or MICP experience preferred
