As the Nursing Supervisor, you will be the off shift clinical and administrative resource for the division of Nursing and the hospital at large. You are the liasison for all our customers, to include patients, visitors and staff. This position reports to the Director of Nursing Operations.
We are a 600+ bed academic medical center in the heart of central New Jersey. We are designated as a Level I Trauma Center and a Stroke Center. Our Cardiac Center offers complete cardiac care to inlcude the implantation of the world's first completely mechanical heart. Our campus includes the Bristol Myers Squibb Children's Hospital. Within close proximity is the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the PSE&G's Children's Specialized Hospital. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital serves as the primary teaching resource for UMDNJ- Medical School. New Brunswick is the home to Rutgers University as well as a variety of diverse restaurants, theaters and cultural events. Both New York City and Philadelphia are easily accessed via the rail lines which are a short walk from the Hospital.
