The Trauma/Vascular Services Unit is comprised of 34 beds including an 8-bed intermediate care unit. Nursing care in this unit is provided to patients who have undergone various surgical procedures as well as trauma patients with multiple injuries. This unit is fast paced and the nursing staff on this unit are experts in the care of trauma and vascular patients. Many nurses on this unit advance into critical care nursing in their future nursing career.
A minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience is required to be successful in this role. One year med surg NJ Nursing License and experience necessary.
