Breastfeeding Support Group

Nursing mothers and their babies are welcome to join the breastfeeding support group. The purpose of the group is to help the breastfeeding pair get off to a good start and to offer supporting information during the breastfeeding experience.

Mothers often have many questions about breastfeeding. Friends, family and medical providers are not always knowledgeable enough to be helpful. The wrong information can increase a mother’s anxiety and lead to early weaning.

At the group meetings you will get the right information. In addition, your baby can be weighed. If you are experiencing difficulties, we can offer suggestions and help on the spot.

This group is facilitated by a physician.
