Help save a life. Give blood.
Blood and platelets are in constant demand to support the transfusion needs of the patients at RWJUH. Platelets have a very short shelf-life of five days and are critically important for the ongoing treatment of cancer patients.
Blood can be stored for up to 42 days however certain blood types used in emergent and trauma situations are constantly in demand. Your help and support is always needed and greatly appreciated.
Refreshments and parking are complementary to all of our volunteer blood and platelet donors.
All scheduled Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital blood drives will be held in the Arline and Henry Schwartzman Courtyard, stage side, unless noted otherwise. Donors may also schedule an appointment to donate, although walk-ins are always welcomed.
