Marcia received her RN from Middlesex County College, Edison, NJ and her BSN from Kean University, Union, NJ.  Marcia has been in the nursing field for over 25 years. She has been with The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for over 19 years.  Marcia began her nursing career as an Oncology Nurse. She has been with the Division of General Surgery for over 13 years and is presently the Nurse Care Coordinator of the Endocrine Surgery Program.

Jenifer Henry, R.N., B.S.N., C.N.O.R.
Nurse Manager of General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Bariatric Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital

Jenifer Henry, R.N., B.S.N., C.N.O.R.Jenifer graduated Cum Laude with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware. She has been an Operating Room (OR) Nurse since 1996. She began her career as a staff nurse in the OR at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She has been employed at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital since 2000. She was instrumental in developing the Hospital’s minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery programs. She was promoted to Nurse Manager of General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Bariatric Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Surgery in 2004. Jenifer coordinates the Hospital’s robotic surgery program with leading-edge surgeons.

Jenifer is a member of the Beta Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She is also a member of the Association of peri-Operative Registered Nurses (AORN). She received her certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) in 2001.

Nona Schrum, R.N., B.S.N., B.S.

Nona Schrum, R.N., B.S.N., B.S.Nona received her Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) from Leinhard School of Nursing, Pace University in Pleasantville, New York and her Bachelor of Science in Biology (BS) from Cook College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Nona began her nursing career at NYU Medical Center before coming to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital as a staff nurse in 2001. She was promoted to Head Nurse of the Trauma/Vascular/General Surgery unit at RWJUH. She was again promoted to the position of Nursing Director of the Trauma/Vascular/General Surgery unit. Nona is a member of the American Nurses Association and the New Jersey State Nurses Association.

Tracey Malast, R.N., M.S.N.Tracey received her BSN from Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey and her MSN from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. Tracey has been in the nursing field since 1985. She began her nursing career as a staff nurse in the surgical oncology unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was promoted to Assistant Head Nurse and then again to the Director of Surgical Oncology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Tracey is a member of the Oncology Nurses Society and international member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
