(732) 828-3000 extension 8833 (for appointments)
The Department of Radiology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital provides a wide variety of services for both adult and pediatric clients. We provide subspecialty expertise in all aspects of modern imaging. To reflect this expertise, the Department is divided into the following subspecialties:
- Body Imaging
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Neuroradiology
- Nuclear Radiology
- Pediatric Radiology
- Women's Imaging Center
- Ultrasound
- Vascular/Interventional Radiology
Each area is staffed by board-certified radiologists and technologists with Certificates of Added Qualification (when appropriate).
All subspecialties use the Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), which allows us to capture and store images on site through a computer system. This means no lost films and a reduced chance of being called back to repeat images. Images can be viewed via monitor both in other areas of the hospital and offices of physicians who have medical staff privileges. This allows your physician to view images without having to come to us to pick up copies.
Because our staff uses digital and computerized imaging equipment, they are familiar with the latest technology. Everything we do at Robert Wood Johnson keeps us a leader in technology and keeps us prepared for what the future has to offer. Our technologists are all licensed professionals who make sure our clients receive very good care.
