Pregnancy is a time of great excitement, but for a woman facing a high-risk pregnancy, those
nine months can be a time of fear and anxiety. It needn't be, though.
With state-of-the-art technology and a staff of medical experts, the Regional Perinatal Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is equipped to handle any emergency for mothers and babies before, during and after delivery. The center provides numerous specialized services including:

Renowned both clinically and academically, the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine has managed thousands of high-risk pregnancies. From the division's many works published in leading medical journals to its prestigious fellowship program, the division is advancing the field of high-risk obstetrics.
Critically ill newborns receive the very highest level of care through the Division of Neonatology, augmented by the care available at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The Division of Neonatology has the state's only perinatal and neonatal fellowship training program. Its neonatologists and fellows are advancing newborn care through their internationally recognized research. The hospital's neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) staff consistently receives praise from parents for their care.
