Renal Artery Repair

Renal artery aneurysms (dilatation or bulge of the renal/kidney artery) are also treated to prevent leakage and rupture. We offer open repairs, minimally-invasive repairs, or a combination.

Renal artery stenosis (blockage of the renal/kidney artery from atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries) can cause high blood pressure. Complete blockage of the arteries can cause renal failure. Minimally-invasive (endovascular) methods, such as balloon angioplasty and stent placement are performed to improve the blood flow to the kidneys for the treatment of high blood pressure.
