Saturday, June 27, 2009
The leadership of the United Steelworkers Local 4 - 200 and the Administration of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital are pleased to announce that the proposed, three-year agreement has been accepted by an 11 to 1 margin. The results are viewed as a vote of confidence for the union and hospital management. During voting which occurred yesterday, the terms of the agreement were accepted by a tally of 521 - Yes, and 48 - No; this has been counted and verified.
The successful resolution of these proceedings is viewed as an indication of the enhanced working relationships that have been fostered at the Hospital. With this chapter concluded, we will now collectively return to focusing on the provision of exceptional patient care for the people of New Jersey.
