Chaplains who are trained to work with people of all faiths are available to you 24 hours a day. A hospital chaplain can help you, or a family member with feelings and concerns about your hospitalization.
Clinically trained chaplains provide:
- Emotional and spiritual support for individuals of all faiths
- Bed side visits with emphasis on listening and spiritual care
- Help in utilizing your spiritual resources including prayer
- Assistance in contacting your own clergy if desired
Other services offered through Pastoral Care include:
- Roman Catholic Priest and Rabbi are available upon request
- Eucharistic volunteers to bring the Sacrament
- Bikkur Holim volunteers to visit Jewish patients
- Cancer Support Group for patients and families
- Community Bereavement Support Group
- Chaplains also assist patients with questions regarding Advance Directives.
The Chapel For All Faiths, located on the first floor of the hospital provides:
- Daily Inter-faith prayer services
- Roman Catholic mass once a week and during Holy Days
- Protestant services on special holidays
- Daily Muslim Prayer
- Others services upon request
