Alzheimer's Prevention Expert Speaks Feb. 6

A nationally recognized expert on memory and aging will present “The Alzheimer’s Prevention Plan: Keep Your Brain Healthy” on Monday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Somerville Elks.
Gary Small, MD, author and director of the UCLA Memory and Aging Center, Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, has been interviewed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and NBC’s “Today” show and is scheduled to appear Jan. 20 on the Dr. Oz Show. His research-based program forestalls the onset of Alzheimer’s through preventive lifestyle choices, simple assessments and a seven-day plan that yields immediate results. Dr. Small will lead participants in memory-strengthening activities. A book-signing will follow the program.
