New Board Members Welcomed

Somerset Medical Center recently welcomed three new members to its Board of Trustees: Anthony Frisoli, MD, of Basking Ridge, Rich Wintersteller of Flemington, and Roger Yang, MD, of Green Brook.

Dr. Frisoli, a board-certified family practitioner on staff at Somerset Medical Center, is medical director and president of Martinsville Family Practice. He is also medical director of Bridgeway Senior Healthcare in Bridgewater and Hillsborough and a member of the board of directors of Optimus Healthcare Partners and the Central Jersey Physicians Network. Dr. Frisoli is also a member of the credentialing committee at Somerset Medical Center. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Wagner College in Staten Island, New York and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Rutgers Medical School in Piscataway. He completed his residency at Somerset Medical Center where he was chief resident.

Rich Wintersteller is vice president of U.S. sales for Ethicon Products, overseeing one of the largest sales organizations in the Global Surgery business sector of Johnson & Johnson. He is also a member of the U.S. management board of Ethicon, Inc. Wintersteller previously served as national sales director for Ethicon Biosurgery with responsibility for the company’s Biosurgery product line and oversight of the company’s sales organization. Over the course of his nearly 20 years at Johnson & Johnson, he has held management positions in sales, market development, product marketing, and sales learning. Wintersteller is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Dr. Yang is a board-certified radiologist who is fellowship-trained in women’s imaging. He previously was the chief of breast imaging and intervention at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He is past chairman of Somerset Medical Center’s Department of Radiology and former co-director of the sanofi-aventis U.S. Breast Care Program at Somerset Medical Center. He is President of Associated Radiologists in Green Brook. Dr. Yang serves as Mammography Committee Chairman and Vice President of the Radiologic Society of New Jersey. He is a councilor of the American College of Radiology. In addition, he is a member of the quality committee for Optimus Healthcare Partners. Dr. Yang obtained his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his medical training at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick and SUNY-Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn where he was chief resident.
