NJBIZ Recognizes Medical Center VP

Rob Senska, Esquire of Martinsville, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer at Somerset Medical Center, has been named a finalist in the Non-Profit Organization Category in the 2012 “General Counsel of the Year” Awards program by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premiere business news publication.
Senska holds a juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, a master’s degree in business administration and health systems administration from Union College Graduate Management Institute, Schenectady, N.Y. and a bachelor’s degree from Union College, also in Schenectady. He is licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and New York. He joined Somerset Medical Center in February, 2010. Senska previously worked as a corporate health care attorney with law firms in New Jersey and New York and he also spent several years in the Health Care Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General.
The General Counsel of the Year Award honors New Jersey’s standout General Counsels, Chief Legal Officers and corporate compliance professionals for the critical role they play in making their companies successful. Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Karol Corbin Walker, LeClairRyan; Mayor Gerald Drasheff, Esq., Guttenberg; Erling Jensen, NVE, Inc. and Gunther Mertens, Agfa Corporation. Honorees were selected using a scoring system based on: career successes, legal victories and achievements, professional services provided and community service.
