Somerset Medical Center hosts caregiver program on July 27

SOMERVILLE, NJ, Jun. 27, 2012- Having a family member diagnosed with a serious illness can be one of life’s most challenging times. Learn what you can do to develop family caregiving strategies to create a support network, navigate through tough decisions, and preserve bonds. 

Somerset Medical Center’s Senior Advantage in Life (SAIL) Program will host a free educational event, “The Emotional Survival Guide for Caregivers,” on Tuesday, July 17 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Raritan Valley Country Club, 747 State Route 28, Bridgewater. 

Keynote speakers will be Barry Jacobs, PsyD, the author and director of behavioral sciences at the Crozer-Keystone Family Medicine Residency Program, and Jay Reyes from Home Instead Senior Care. A book signing will follow the presentation.
