Thomas P. Schaible, of Tewksbury, recently joined Somerset Medical Center’s Board of Trustees. Schaible, a licensed certified public accountant, is founding partner with Schaible, Russo & Co., a general service public accounting firm in Whitehouse concentrating in personal and business tax planning and preparation, business valuation and advanced estate and financial planning. He is also a partner in Schaible, Russo Financial, an investment management and advisory firm in Whitehouse.
He previously worked as a sole practitioner in his own accounting firm, focusing on tax and financial planning and merger and acquisition transactions. In addition, his work experience includes overseeing business valuation of acquisition targets, deal structuring and contract negotiations for SGS North America and serving as interim chief financial officer of one of the operating companies of SGS, which is based in Switzerland.
Schaible was a Founding Board member and served as Board Chairman of The Cancer Support Community of Central New Jersey in Bedminster and has served as an advisor and board member for various profit and non-profit organizations. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania where he obtained his bachelor’s of science degree in accounting.
